FRP / GRP Tanks
Fiberglass tanks engineered for water, wastewater, chemicals and diesel — built to your site, not a catalogue size.
FRP / GRP Tank Manufacturer for Saudi Arabia and the GCC
Fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP), also called GRP, resists corrosion, is light for its strength and stands up to the heat and humidity of Saudi Arabian sites. Falcon designs and fabricates FRP/GRP tanks around the stored liquid, concentration, temperature and installation location rather than starting from a fixed size chart.
From potable water and process water to wastewater, chemicals and diesel, each tank is built with a resin and laminate system matched to the service, then inspected and documented before it leaves the factory.
Tank SolutionsWhat We Offer
Corrosion-resistant construction
Glass-reinforced laminate that does not rust and handles aggressive liquids when the resin is chosen correctly.
Resin matched to service
Resin and laminate selected for the stored liquid, concentration and operating temperature.
Custom sizes and shapes
Cylindrical, rectangular and special-purpose tanks sized to your footprint and access.
Engineered fittings
Nozzle orientation, manholes, supports and lifting points set out on approved drawings.
Controlled manufacturing
Material control, layer construction, thickness and reinforcement checked at defined inspection points.
Restoration support
If an FRP tank is ever damaged, Falcon can restore and reinforce it rather than replace it.
Types of FRP / GRP Tanks
Each configuration has its own page with the detail relevant to that type.

Vertical FRP Tank
The standard orientation for most water, process and chemical storage where floor space is limited.
View type
Horizontal FRP Tank
Lower profile for sites with restricted height or where the tank sits on a skid or trailer.
View type
Underground FRP Tank
Buried storage engineered to resist soil load and groundwater buoyancy.
View type
Cylindrical FRP Tank
The most structurally efficient FRP shape, used across vertical and horizontal configurations.
View type
Rectangular FRP Tank
A square or rectangular footprint for sites where plot shape matters more than structural efficiency.
View type
Custom-Shape FRP Tank
Project-specific fabrication for tanks that don't fit a standard shape or footprint.

Reference Sizes
Documented configurations we can reference as a starting point — confirmed per project, not a committed availability.
- Underground diesel (FRP)
- 20,000 L — Ø2,500 mm × 4,350 mm long; 30,000 L — Ø2,500 mm × 6,400 mm long.
- Aboveground horizontal (FRP)
- 100,000 L reference — Ø3.50 m × 11 m long × 4.00 m high.
Indicative reference configurations from prior project and design context — not a committed catalogue range or current availability. Final capacity and dimensions are confirmed against the approved drawing and QA file for each project.
Standards & Compliance
- ASTM D3299-26
- Filament-wound FRP corrosion-resistant tanks, within its scope and design conditions.
- ASTM D4097-19
- Contact-molded FRP tanks; the 2019 edition is marked withdrawn by ASTM in 2026 — confirm the current project-approved basis.
- AWWA D120-19(R25)
- Thermosetting FRP tanks for water service — confirm purchaser requirements and exact scope.
- AWWA D121-24
- Bolted aboveground FRP panel-type tanks for water storage (not a blanket FRP standard).
A standard reference is not proof of third-party certification. Falcon states “designed and manufactured to” a standard only when it is backed by the controlled design and QA file; chemical, potable-water and underground suitability require separate product-specific evidence. Saudi/GCC approvals (SASO/SABER, Civil Defense, environmental, municipal, utility and owner approvals) are project- and product-specific.
Accessories & Fittings
Nozzle size, material, reinforcement and orientation are set in the nozzle schedule for each tank. Accessories are fitted as the service requires.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between FRP and GRP tanks?
They describe the same family of material — a resin laminate reinforced with glass fiber. FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) and GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) are used interchangeably.
Can FRP tanks store chemicals?
Yes. FRP is widely used for chemical storage because the resin system can be selected for the specific chemical, concentration and temperature. Share those details and our engineers confirm the suitable construction before fabrication.
Can an FRP tank be installed underground?
Yes. Underground FRP tanks are supported by foundation, anchoring and installation details in the design package, with the design accounting for soil and external loads.
